Overview
Saint Juniper is a small town located in a forested region. The community gained regional attention in the late 1990s due to a series of unexplained disappearances centered around Hill Devil State Park, a popular recreation area adjacent to the town.
These incidents prompted several local residents to form The Bloc, an activist organization dedicated to investigating the disappearances and their potential connection to alleged unauthorized research activities in the area. The organization was founded in 1999 by three individuals known by the aliases Z*L1NE, 1NK, and GUMM1, who met while conducting independent research at the St. Juniper Paranormal Museum.
The town has since become associated with The Bloc's ongoing investigation into what the organization alleges is a covert research facility operated near Hill Devil State Park.
