Career
St. Juniper Paranormal Museum
Magdalena established the St. Juniper Paranormal Museum as both a commercial bookshop and research facility. The museum specializes in texts related to paranormal phenomena, occult practices, and unexplained events. Her collection includes rare leather-bound volumes on mysticism, archetypal symbolism, and esoteric knowledge.
The museum attracted individuals researching unexplained disappearances and paranormal events in the Saint Juniper area, particularly those connected to Hill Devil State Park. The establishment's role as a community gathering place for researchers made it a natural headquarters for activist organizations.
Mentorship and The Bloc formation
In the late 1990s, Magdalena's museum became a meeting place for young researchers investigating disappearances and alleged corporate misconduct in the Saint Juniper area. When Z*L1NE began researching paranormal phenomena following the disappearance of Kai Shepherd at Hill Devil State Park in October 1995, she spent considerable time at the museum studying Magdalena's collection.
After Z*L1NE met 1NK and GUMM1 at the museum, the growing group of researchers continued to use the facility for their investigations. As their numbers increased in 1999, Magdalena provided basement space that became The Bloc's headquarters. The basement contained research materials, computer equipment, and workspace for the activist organization.
Occult research and symbolism
Magdalena's knowledge of occult symbolism became significant to The Bloc's understanding of the subjects held at Saint Juniper Research Campus. She identified imagery and symbolism in her historical texts that corresponded to descriptions of Subject G-304. According to The Bloc's accounts, Magdalena showed them that the hooded figure matched iconography appearing in ancient books within her collection.
Her research included artifacts as well as texts. She maintained possession of an ancient statue depicting a hooded figure with features matching descriptions of G-304, suggesting the subject's appearance corresponded to archetypal imagery predating the facility's operations.
Mystical practices
Magdalena practices divination and ritual work. She instructed members of The Bloc in techniques for what she characterized as focusing collective intention. According to The Bloc's published accounts, she used tarot and oracle cards to determine what she described as optimal timing for focused concentration on specific subjects.
In the early 2000s, following the volunteer infiltration operation and subsequent memory erasure of multiple Bloc members, Magdalena provided guidance on ritual practices that The Bloc employed in attempts to aid the subjects held within the facility.
Personal life
Magdalena resides in Saint Juniper. She continues to operate the St. Juniper Paranormal Museum and maintain her collection of occult texts and artifacts. Her relationship with The Bloc remains active, with the organization continuing to use her facilities for research and operations.
Legacy
Magdalena's provision of space and resources proved essential to The Bloc's formation and operations. The basement facilities at the St. Juniper Paranormal Museum remain associated with the organization's founding period and early investigations into Miter Corporation activities.
Her research into archetypal symbolism contributed to The Bloc's interpretation of Subject G-304 as potentially connected to historical or mythological patterns rather than solely as a contemporary experimental subject.
