BLOWPIE and G*BOY were displaced to Shinkai Metropolis, a mind place within the Mindverse, through what sources describe as "a tear in the realities." This dimensional rift was allegedly caused by "a ritual accident"—possibly connected to The Bloc's ritual activities.

Upon arrival in Shinkai Metropolis, BLOWPIE and G*BOY were identified as "unwanted anomalies" by local authorities. The Oni King ordered their execution, with the pair held captive in a subordinate's flying vessel pending judgment.

Escape from Shinkai ​

BLOWPIE and GBOY escaped captivity by commandeering the ornate flying ship in which they were being held. GBOY piloted the stolen vessel despite admitting he didn't "know how to fly this thing" and being uncertain "where here is," suggesting confusion about their location within the Mindverse network.

During the escape, G*BOY explained to BLOWPIE the nature of "head jack" abilities, mind places, and the broader Mindverse network.
